Set in the heart of the Pacific Palisades, the Temescal Canyon Ropes Course is a worthy escape from the busy city yet still within easy driving distance. Our Fulcrum Adventures owners share a rich history there that nearly spans two decades. Founder Leslie Bourne spent two years living there while developing and maintaining many of the canyon’s beautiful hiking trails. Partner Philip Folsom was married on the historic and lush, grassy meadow of Woodland Terrace.
Their deep appreciation and passion for Temescal Canyon led to the construction of a high ropes course safely built into the park’s trees. Of the many available events, standouts include the leap of faith, high wire vine crossing and a balancing beam that rests thirty-five feet above the park’s winding wilderness trail. It is also conveniently located near Woodland Hall and Temescal Canyon’s lodging structures.
The site also boasts significant and comfortable accommodations for large or small groups of clients. Temescal’s overnight cabins can provide lodging for over 200 individuals while the catered dining facility provides delicious meals, planned according to your taste. There are also large conference and meeting rooms available for both business and indoor team building activities. With the various hiking trails available, participants have the opportunity to explore nature in the park while visiting historic sites like Sycamore Valley, which served as an outdoor auditorium for the Chautaqua Movement in the 1900’s. We invite you to experience this unique southern California location for yourself and build memories there as precious as our own. |
